Hospital Faces Court Over Controversial Ceremony

A few days ago, a video from a ceremony in a Tehran hospital circulated on social media, showing scenes that many considered inappropriate and unbefitting a medical environment. Following this incident, the judiciary took action, and a legal case was filed against the hospital director and several staff members.

According to Salamat News, after the release of footage showing conduct that violated professional norms and ethical standards, judicial authorities initiated a case and pressed charges against the individuals involved.

The Judiciary’s Media Center also reported that the images from the hospital ceremony indicated behavior contrary to social norms and ethical standards, prompting authorities to file a case and press charges against those responsible.

If the published content includes actions defined under Iranian criminal law as “acts contrary to public decency” or “immoral acts,” it may be subject to the penalties prescribed in the Islamic Penal Code.
