100 New Ambulances Added to Iran’s National Emergency Medical Services Fleet
In a ceremony held to enhance the capacity of hospital and emergency ambulance fleets, attended by the Minister of Health, 100 new ambulances were added to the fleet of Iran’s National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and delivered to medical universities across the country.
According to the Ministry of Health’s official news agency (Webda), the ceremony took place on Monday, July 21, with the participation of Dr. Mohammadreza Zafarghandi, Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, along with senior officials from the ministry.
During the event, 100 newly equipped ambulances were officially added to the National EMS fleet and allocated to medical universities throughout Iran.
The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Jafar Miadfar, Head of the National Emergency Medical Services Organization, Engineer Taher Mohebati, Deputy Minister for Development Management and Resources, as well as a number of senior officials from the Ministry of Health and the National EMS Organization.
The addition of these ambulances is aimed at strengthening the operational capacity of the country’s emergency medical services and improving the delivery of emergency care and pre-hospital medical services nationwide.
