Even in Tehran, there is a shortage of medicines for thalassemia patients

Yunus Arab, the CEO of the Iranian Thalassemia Patients Association, in response to the question, how far have the recent positions of the Food and Drug Organization been realized in practice in order to solve the drug shortages of thalassemia patients?

Even when we did not have any medicine and in 1400 when we were facing a famine in the full meaning of medicine, the Food and Drug Organization admitted that there is plenty of medicine and the demands of the patients and the Iranian Thalassemia Association are illogical. He explained.

Currently, in Tehran, patients cannot get their own medicine, even in centers that supply drugs illegally or freely, it is not possible to find the medicine. So if it is only said as a slogan that there is no shortage of medicines, it will only add salt to the wounds of the patients. Referring to drug shortages, he clarified.
