The rapid round of deprivation of education in Iran

Masoumeh Pazuki, Deputy Minister of Education, told IRNA state news agency that about 30,000 of the total number of school survivors are children who cannot go to school due to deprivation.

At the same time, many children and teachers are left vacant in the country’s schools. The number of these empty seats has been increasing in recent years. Official statistics also confirm this claim. Among these statistics, the report of the Majlis Research Center can be mentioned.

Earlier, the parliment Research Center wrote in a report that more than 900,000 children in Iran were left out of school during the academic year 1400-1401.

As the details of this report show, in 1396-1395, the number of survivors of education was about 748 thousand people. In the academic year of 1401-1400, their number reached 911 thousand 277 people. In other words, it increased by more than 21% in 6 years.
