While the Minister of Health publicly opposed the distribution of medicines through platforms, the Minister of Communications ordered Reza Bagheri Asl as his deputy in the Steering Committee of the Digital Economy Working Group to summarize the issues related to this regulation with the coordination of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education.

Despite the warnings of the parliament, the health minister stated that “we do not allow anyone other than the pharmacy.” He had emphasized: “A pharmacist is present in the pharmacy and he accepts the drug prescription, drug interaction and the risks related to the drug.”
