The increase in medical capacity will probably be stopped for two years

Hassan Abulqasmi, Secretary of the Health Transformation Commission of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution said:

• Today, the first health transformation commission of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution was held.

In this meeting, the concerns of increasing the capacity and decreasing the quality of medical education were raised.

• Universities cannot increase their capacity due to the lack of facilities and infrastructure.
• We hope that the Council will make a two-year suspension in the capacity increase plan.
• No one in the medical community agrees with this capacity increase.
• Failure to stop the increase in capacity causes a sharp drop in the quality of medical education.
• The Ministry of Health must convey the correct information to the President.
