Parliamentary agreement to raise retirement age In Iran

Parliament Approves Increase in Retirement Age Members of the parliament have agreed to increase the retirement age gradually based on the remaining years of service.

With their decision, the parliamentarians announced that the plan to increase the retirement age is aimed at reducing the imbalance in pension funds.

This plan is designed in the form of a ladder. For example, for insurance companies with 28 to 30 years of service, years of work are not added for pensions.

However, according to the law, insured persons with up to 10 years of service experience will have 5 months added to their working years for each year until retirement.
